911 emergency medical services

Our services are free to the community. There is no charge billed to the patient for treatment and/or transportation to the hospital by our ambulances.

Mutual aid to surrounding towns

We provide mutual aid to West Milford, Wanaque, Oakland, Bloomingdale, Butler, and Riverdale when they need our help.

EMS standbys for sporting and community events

We offer our services as standbys with EMTs and ambulances to events in the community including sporting events, swim meets, and fundraisers.

Training and certification for CPR and First Aid

Some of our members are instructors and offer certification classes for CPR and First Aid throughout the year. These classes are open to the public for a nominal fee. Contact cpr@ringwoodambulance.org for more information.

 

Tours and educational demonstrations for schools, Scouts, and other youth groups

Our members work closely with the Ringwood School District to educate children on safety and first aid through educational programs and demonstrations. RAC also offers tours of our facility for scouting and other youth organizations.

Free loans of medical equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and crutches

If you are recuperating from an injury or surgery, you can borrow medical equipment from RAC at no charge.
