Ringwood Ambulance Corps is a non-profit organization committed to saving lives and improving the quality of life by providing 24-hour emergency medical response, outreach programs, and education for community members and healthcare professionals. Founded in 1963, we've been providing the 28 square mile Borough of Ringwood's 12,000+ residents and scores of businesses with emergency medical services for over 60 years.
Ringwood Ambulance offers many different training opportunities to the community such as CPR/AED and Basic First Aid. Many of our members work in other first-responder capacities as police officers, dispatchers, firefighters, search and rescuers, and nurses. We strongly believe that RAC should be an active part of the community. Our ambulances and staff can be seen at community events throughout Ringwood.
RAC is home to a Junior Cadet Program, designed for 14–17-year-olds who would like to gain training and experience as EMTs. Many go on to become professional EMTs, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
